The 3rd Student Symposium of the Faculty of Computing at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), held on January 18, 2023, stood as a testament to the fusion of academic prowess, technological innovation, and a steadfast commitment to sustainable development. Under the theme "Science, Technology, and Innovations for Sustainable Development," the symposium unfolded into a dynamic arena where students, faculty, and industry professionals converged to explore the forefront of computing. The distinguished presence of Major General MP Peiris, the Vice Chancellor of KDU, as the Chief Guest added a layer of prestige to the occasion. Keynote speeches by Dr Ajantha Athukorale, Director of University of Colombo School of Computing and President of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL), and Prof Eun Chang Choi, AI Policy Adviser to the Government of Korea, enriched the symposium with global perspectives and insights into the latest advancements in computing.

Integral to the symposium's success was the unwavering commitment of the organizing committee, led by the Students of CSSL GenZ Chapter of KDU.
